“LEAPS is a positive community; a network of people providing a safe space.”
“Before Christmas, I lost the only family member that I have and I felt
really alone. That’s when I heard about LEAPS and was told that it’s a place
where ‘people will listen to you and help you.’ I now have more people in my
life and feel less alone and I’m so much happier because of it.”
“Before LEAPs, my life was losing meaning. I was losing hope and felt
really lonely and was struggling with my mental health. Now I play a key part
in the running of LEAPS and everyone says I have much more energy and a zest
for life since joining the group!"
“I come to LEAPS every Friday and it’s great knowing that I have at
least one thing to look forward to every week.”
“I always enjoy talking to the group members; everyone has a different
story and a different experience to share that it’s brilliant to have one place
for so many differences to come together as one so that we can learn from one
another.”
